UL Solutions in Rochester Hills, MI, seeks an experienced engineer to support automotive testing and responsible project leadership. You will follow complex test plans, evaluate performance, and report results while coordinating with customers and engineers.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, quality, and timely delivery, with a focus on leveraging automation within daily testing activities. On-site position with competitive benefits.

Competenze

• University degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of work experience in automotive testing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with high quality and customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interaction with customers.
• Ability to incorporate automation into day-to-day testing.

Mansioni

• Follows complex test plans and datasheets.
• Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results.
• Records and explains test results and completes test report.
• Serves as Project Lead for complex test programs as assigned.
• Communicates project status and results as needed.
• Holds responsibility for defining test plan, report completion and accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
• Trains other lab staff on test procedures or equipment.
• Operates and maintains complex test equipment to measure and test samples.
