Job summary

Anthro is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead the battery test lab, drive reliability testing, and manage high-value lab equipment. You will partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Data Systems, and Facilities to improve safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a mission-critical lab.

You will specify and commission new equipment, design automated data pipelines, and oversee test protocol development while guiding technicians. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Experience using battery cyclers (Landt, Neware, MACCOR, Arbin) in an industrial lab.
• Experience managing high-value equipment and multi-stakeholder projects in R&D.
• Familiarity with Python, JMP, SQL, and data pipelines.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operations within Anthro’s battery test lab.
• Collaborate with Data Systems team to improve data accessibility.
• Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot battery cycling equipment per ISO 9001 standards.
• Work with engineers to create custom test solutions and reliability tests.
• Oversee protocol development and approval for tests.
• Promote a safe, collaborative and inclusive team culture with ownership and rigor.
