Job summary

Averro is seeking an Engineering Test Manager to lead a new test facility for advanced nuclear technology. You will translate objectives into test plans, set up experiments, and oversee daily operations, ensuring safety and QA compliance.

With 8–10 years in test engineering and a hands-on background in high-pressure, high-temperature systems, you will shape testing strategies, coordinate with EHS and national labs, and mentor a growing team to support licensing-driven design work.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years as a Test Engineer, including 2 years leading people.
• Hands-on experience with high-pressure, high-temperature (300-500C+) gas/fluid systems, pressure vessels, and data acquisition instrumentation
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; regulated-industry and QA experience

Responsibilities

• Own the new test facility, including setup, equipment, operations, and daily oversight
• Translate engineering objectives into test plans, procedures, and experimental setups
• Execute tests on pressurized, high-temperature systems and analyze data for design and licensing
• Ensure safe, repeatable, QA-compliant testing; coordinate EHS, suppliers, and national labs
• Provide technical leadership and help build the test team
