Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) in Etters, PA, seeks a Manager, Test Development Engineering to lead the design, validation, and deployment of automated test systems for Cable Backplane Systems.

You will partner with Product Engineering, Signal Integrity, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure test capabilities meet product performance, ramp, and long‑term production needs. This role combines hands‑on engineering leadership with strategic program management.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; MS preferred.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in electronics/interconnect/test development.
• 3+ years of experience leading engineers or technical teams.
• Experience supporting NPI and high‑volume manufacturing environments.
• Ability to manage multiple programs with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development of electrical, functional, and manufacturing test solutions from concept through production release.
• Drive test readiness into NPI gates with ownership of performance, schedule, risk retirement, validation, and launch.
• Develop standards for test coverage, calibration, data integrity, and reliability.
• Ensure robust transfer to manufacturing with documentation, training, and spare‑parts planning.
