Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks an Electrical Test Engineer for our Cable Backplane Systems business in Valley Green, PA. You will lead high-speed test activities and develop robust test methods for next-generation cables used in AI compute servers and data centers.

You will work with design and manufacturing teams worldwide, plan EVT/DVT, mentor technicians, and travel to NA and Asia factories for installation and training, ensuring test

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required; 3 years in EE or related fields (RF/antenna test).
• Experience with high-speed test equipment such as TDR and VNA/ENA.
• Ability to work with design and process development teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Global ownership of high-speed test, including BERT, eye diagrams, jitter, TDR, VNA.
• Collaborate with development engineering, factories, and customers to deploy testing.
• Plan EVT and DVT; generate and publish EVT and DVT reports.
• Mentor test technicians and provide site support with travel to NA and Asia.
• Develop high-speed test systems aligned with product roadmap requirements.
• Communicate customer requirements and perform failure analyses.
