Job summary

Amphenol Corporation seeks a Manager, Test Development Engineering to lead test development for the Cable Backplane Systems programs in Etters, PA. You will oversee end-to-end test solutions, coordinate with Product and Manufacturing teams, and drive DFT, validation, and data-driven improvements across NPI and high-volume production.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of high-speed interconnect testing, and experience delivering scalable test systems, automation, and process

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical or related field; M.S. preferred.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in electronics or interconnects.
• 3+ years leading engineers or complex programs.
• Experience with NPI and high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of electrical, functional, and manufacturing test solutions from concept to production release.
• Drive test readiness into NPI program gates with ownership of performance, schedule, risk retirement, validation, and launch deliverables.
• Develop and maintain standards for test coverage, calibration, data integrity, reliability, and traceability.
• Ensure robust transfer to manufacturing through complete documentation, training, spare-parts planning, maintenance requirements, and escalation support.
