Job summary

Amphenol ICC in Valley Green, PA, seeks a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to design and develop test processes for high-speed cable backplane systems. The role emphasizes hands-on testing and collaboration with hardware and firmware teams to verify product performance.

You will own EVT/DVT planning, drive test methodologies, and mentor technicians. Travel to facilities in North America and Asia is required to support installations and customer projects, ensuring DFMA and quality across the test

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required; BS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in Electrical or RF/test engineering.
• Experience with high-speed test equipment and test methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own high-speed test development including BERT, optical/EYE testing, jitter, TDR, VNA.
• Collaborate with global engineering, factories, and customers to deploy tests.
• Plan EVT and DVT, generate and publish reports.
• Mentor test technicians and support site installations and training.
• Travel to North America, Asia facilities and customer sites as needed.
• Prepare standard customer reports and support DFMA/DFT during design.
