Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions, Etters, PA, is seeking a Manager of Test Development Engineering to lead end-to-end test solution development for Cable Backplane Systems. The role partners across Product Engineering, SI, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure robust, scalable test capabilities for high-speed interconnect products.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in test development/electronics, 3+ years in leadership, and strong experience with ATE, PAM4, and automated testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in electronics, interconnect, test development, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience leading engineers, technical teams, or complex engineering programs.
• Experience supporting new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Strong technical communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of electrical, functional, and manufacturing test solutions from concept to production release.
• Drive test readiness into NPI program gates with clear ownership of performance, schedule, risk retirement, and launch deliverables.
• Lead architecture, design, validation, and deployment of automated test equipment and related test platforms.
• Implement disciplined operating practices for NPI and manufacturing test systems; monitor key test performance measures.
