Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to lead high-speed testing for CBS backplane systems. You will design and implement test processes, plan EVT/DVT, and collaborate with hardware/firmware teams to validate performance.

You will work with global teams and customers, travel to factories as needed, and mentor technicians while ensuring test plans meet the evolving product roadmap and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required; BS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field (e.g. RF / Antenna test).
• Experience with high-speed testing equipment (e.g. TDR, VNA/ENA).
• Strong collaboration with design and process teams to deploy test programs.

Responsibilities

• Own high-speed test programs (BERT, optical/electrical tests, eye diagrams).
• Collaborate with development engineering, factories, and customers to deploy testing.
• Plan EVT and DVT, generate and publish reports.
• Support hardware and firmware validation and performance analysis.
• Develop next-gen test systems aligned to product roadmap.
• Travel to NA/Asia facilities for installation, training, and support.
• Mentor test technicians and work with suppliers to improve SI performance.
