Job summary

Blackstone Talent Group is seeking a mid-level Software Test Automation Engineer to join our Client's team in a role that requires leading test automation efforts and collaborating with business analysts and developers. The candidate will create automation scripts, test plans, and performance tests using Selenium and JMeter, while coordinating with DevOps and client teams.

Responsibilities include test execution, data setup, defect communication, and supporting UAT.

Qualifications

Experience with manual functional, regression, usability, integration testing.
Experience developing automation scripts from scratch with programming code (Java, JavaScript, Python).
Experience developing an automation framework from scratch.
Experience using AI to generate test plans, cases, automation and test reports.
Experience developing performance scripts from scratch.
Web services testing: scripts using web services tools.
SME in SQL, DB, back-end testing.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of test automation engineers and the test automation strategy.
Manage the automation framework and test plans, estimates, and reports.
Create automated and performance test scripts (Selenium, JMeter).
Test key functionality, set up and verify data, report results to manager.
Interact with clients during testing phases to communicate release defects and support UAT.
