Job summary

People Inc. Group seeks a Test Lead in New York, NY to drive quality across multiple SCRUM teams. You will review requirements, coordinate with developers and product managers, and lead efforts to optimize test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for reliable daily coverage.

The role requires 4+ years in QA/testing, strong automation skills with Selenium/Playwright, API testing with Postman/Swagger, and familiarity with Java/JavaScript/TypeScript. Hybrid in-office with up to 2 remote days per week.

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
4 years of QA/test experience with manual, functional, regression, and API testing.
4 years defect tracking using Jira/TestRail/Azure and SDLC/Agile.
2 years automated testing with Selenium and Playwright.
2 years API testing with Postman/Swagger.
2 years programming/scripting (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript).
2 years CI/CD exposure (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Git versioning (Git).
1 year cloud basics and 1 year performance testing (JMeter, Lighthouse).
1 year test reporting/monitoring (Allure, Grafana, Kibana).

Responsibilities

Review requirements with developers, PMs, and teams to ensure quality.
Lead test process improvements across SCRUM teams with managers.
Automate regression tests using Telescope, Voyager-UI, CaseGen (JS) and Nova-MCP (TS).
Debug CI/CD test infrastructure for functional test orchestration.
Provide feedback on test scenarios to ensure coverage and quality.
Analyze metrics from automated and performance tests for improvements.
Collaborate with SCRUM teams to align testing with business goals.
Perform code reviews and mentor engineers to improve test readability.
