Job summary

Blackstone Talent Group seeks a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The candidate will lead a team of automation engineers, develop the automation framework, and oversee test plans, scripts, and reports.

You will create automated and performance tests using Selenium/JMeter and work with developers, analysts, and DevOps to ensure quality releases. Daily client interaction and a Public Trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual functional, regression, usability, integration, remote access, and accessibility testing
• Experience with developing automation scripts from scratch with programming code (Java, java script, python, etc.) and experience developing an automation framework from scratch
• Experience using AI throughout testing process to generate test plans, cases, automation, and test reports
• Some experience with developing performance scripts from scratch with programming code
• Web services testing: experience developing scripts using web services tool
• Serving as SME in SQL, DB, back-end testing
• Experience developing level of effort estimates and testing schedules for own work and others, and authoring test plans, test case scripting and test summary reports
• Experience testing in an Agile development environment using tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Zephyr Scale to develop/execute functional and regression test scripts, Requirements Traceability, and manage defects
• Experience with Section 508 testing using tools such as JAWS, SortSite, Dragon, WAVE, or LighthousMust successfully complete a Public Trust investigation prior to onboarding
• Experience working with a client during User Acceptance Test sessions

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of test automation engineers and define the test automation strategy
• Manage the automation framework and provide effort estimates and test plans
• Create automated and performance test scripts using Selenium and JMeter
• Test key functionalities, set up data, and report results to the manager
• Interact with clients daily during testing phases to communicate defects and support UAT
• Prepare test summary reports and ensure successful release testing
