Job summary
EL Bar at Pier 57 in New York is seeking a dynamic Head/Lead Bartender who loves tequila and mezcal. You will lead cocktail development, curate premium tequilas/mezcals, train staff, and drive guest engagement and sales, while maintaining City Winery standards.

Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of tequila and mezcal, including flavor profiles.
- Previous experience as a sommelier or spirits expert.
- Strong presentation and storytelling abilities.
- Certification in spirits or sommelier qualifications is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a captivating selection of tequilas and mezcals.
- Craft and refine innovative cocktail recipes showcasing our offerings.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new product releases.
- Ensure inventory/ordering is efficient and submitted on time.
- Interact with guests, take orders, serve food and beverage, handle transactions.
- Prepare and serve beverages to City Winery standards.
- Upsell and drive promotions, events, and brand initiatives.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer.
- Adhere to cash handling procedures.
- Serve wine, beer and liquor in proper proportions and glassware.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned.
