Job summary

Yourpayrollhr is seeking a full-time Teller in Cold Spring, Kentucky. The role involves performing daily teller duties, assisting in training tellers, and ensuring compliance with bank procedures and policies. The job includes handling customer service transactions, opening accounts, and processing payments.

Requirements include excellent communication, availability on Saturdays, and strong organizational skills. Prior teller experience is preferred, and basic computer use is required.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor.
• Must be available to work Saturdays.
• Previous teller experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Experience using computers.

Responsibilities

• Performs normal teller duties on a daily basis.
• Provides on-the-job training for tellers on an as-needed basis.
• Monitors tellers to ensure compliance with procedures and policies.
• Issues written and oral instructions on teller operations as necessary.
• Assists tellers in locating cash discrepancies and handles unusual window transactions.
• Rents safe deposit boxes and opens new accounts.
• Receives loan payments and enters payments into records.
• Performs customer service transactions such as account holds, stop-payments, direct deposits.
• Ensures teller stations are stocked and ready for changeover.
• Conduct day-to-day operations in accordance with laws and bank policies; compliance affects performance review.
