Job summary

Prince George's Community Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Head Teller. This full-time role manages teller operations, balances daily cash, and supports member service delivery. The position requires a two-year teller background and strong math and problem-solving skills.

The Head Teller will supervise tellers, assist with training, and contribute to sales goals while upholding the Credit Union's mission and values. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Requires a minimum of two years teller/member service experience in a credit union or bank.
• Requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent math ability and attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Process all transactions for members via a teller terminal, including deposits, withdrawals, account closings, loan payments, cash advances and transfers.
• Balances each day’s transactions and verifies cash totals; completes teller summary sheet.
• Promotes Credit Union’s services through cross-selling and referring members to appropriate staff.
• Receives loan payments and enters payments into the Credit Union’s records.
• Prepares daily settlement of Teller cash and other transactions; balances cash drawer and discrepancy checks.
• Supervises Tellers daily activities and assists with training and scheduling.
