Job summary

First Bank in McComb, MS is seeking a Head Teller to supervise the Teller operations and guide staff in handling customer needs. You will perform teller transactions, resolve inquiries, and ensure accurate cash handling while maintaining customer privacy.

You will identify opportunities to cross-share bank products, refer customers to other departments, and support the Branch Manager with staff development and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years Teller and customer service experience.
• Ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; strong computer and keyboard skills.
• Proficiency using e-mail and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Teller operations area by assigning work, answering questions, solving problems, and assisting staff.
• Approve transactions that are exceptions to policy or require supervisor override.
• Investigate Teller losses and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain trained, motivated staff and effective employee relationships.
• Balance teller drawers daily and perform end-of-day balancing.
