Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Lead Teller in Fairport, NY to serve as the primary troubleshooter for complex client service needs and to enhance client relationships with distinctive service in-branch.

You will supervise teller activities, coach staff, manage scheduling, and ensure branch compliance with regulatory, security, and internal audit controls while guiding clients toward banking solutions with financial wellness tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of superior client relationship skills.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cash handling.
• Proficiency with Windows-based PC systems and calculator.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and foster teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the branch teller line and coach tellers.
• Resolve complex client servicing issues and act as a trusted resource.
• Identify financial wellness opportunities and transition clients to a Banker.
• Assist in onboarding and training new tellers.
• Schedule tellers and ensure branch regulatory compliance.
