Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a senior high school, including or supplemented by courses in commercial arithmetic.
• Experience supervising tellers and reconciling cash receipts.
• Ability to detect irregularities in checks, vouchers or similar cash items; and to deal courteously with the public.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of a small group of tellers handling currency and checks.
• Review teller work by checking register receipts and reconciling cash receipts daily.
• Supervise cash payments and ensure proper notations on checks and documents.
• Prepare reports and records related to duties.
