Ameris Bank is seeking a Head Teller to coordinate customer service within the branch, supervise teller operations, and balance vault and ATM. You will research and resolve complex customer issues while ensuring compliance and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations of teller functions, including staffing schedules and audits.
• Provide prompt, professional customer service to customers and prospective customers.
• Operate the teller drawer and perform advanced teller functions including researching cash discrepancies.
• Work to understand root causes of complex customer service issues and implement resolutions.
• Maintain knowledge of banking products and promotions and meet sales/service goals.
• Perform regular audits of teller activities and balance vault and ATM.
