Job summary

KeyBank in Amherst, NY is seeking a Lead Teller to act as a resource for complex client servicing and to coach fellow tellers in a busy branch. You will manage teller scheduling, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the Branch Manager in onboarding new staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated superior client relationship skills.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cash handling.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and foster teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Embodies a client experience culture and engages with every client and teammate.
• Coaches tellers to ensure efficient, accurate teller operations.
• Identifies opportunities to educate clients on financial wellness and transitions to a Banker when appropriate.
• Manages teller line scheduling and branch operations in compliance with procedures.
