Job summary

Pauley Construction, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Underground III to perform advanced general labor duties on our Telecom Underground team. You’ll lead small crews, install and maintain underground telecom cabling, and ensure safety and quality on complex projects.

Responsibilities include hand digging, operating heavy equipment, following Foreman instructions, and mentoring junior laborers while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• 3 years of underground telecom construction experience
• High safety and quality standards
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; CDL required

Responsibilities

• Dig using hand shovel and mechanical tools
• Install and maintain underground telecom cabling
• Climb in and out of equipment (trucks, backhoes, trenchers)
• Operate or work around heavy equipment
• Work in congested or remote areas
• Maintain contact with crew for safe coordination
• Perform general construction work under Foreman/Supervisor
• Maintain safety in all regulations and procedures
• Provide intermediate-level support with greater responsibility
• Resolve routine issues and escalate complex problems
• Support small workgroups to meet project goals
• Complete and verify detailed production reports
• Assist with site restoration including final grading and landscaping
• Train and mentor Level I and II laborers
• Perform other duties as assigned
