Job summary

Pauley Construction, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Underground III w/CDL to join our Telecom Underground team in Phoenix. You will perform highly skilled labor tasks, lead small teams, and ensure safety and quality on complex underground telecom projects.

Responsibilities include digging, installing and maintaining underground cabling, and coordinating with foremen. The role requires CDL, 3 years of related experience, and willingness to travel or overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Authorized to work in the United States for Pauley Construction
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• 3 years of underground telecommunications construction or related field
• Valid State driver's license (not provisional) with acceptable driving record
• CDL required
• Able to pass background check and drug screen
• May require overtime, weekends, and travel as needed
• Must pass required training and may work nights/holidays as needed
• Able to read prints/maps and operate utility trucks safely

Responsibilities

• Dig with hand shovel and mechanical tools
• Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling
• Climb in/out of equipment and operate around heavy machinery
• Work in congested or remote areas
• Maintain safe working habits per regulations
• Provide support to small workgroups to meet project goals
• Complete and verify production reports for project records
• Assist with site restoration, final grading and landscaping
• Train and mentor Level I/II laborers
• Perform other duties as assigned
