Job summary

Union Transtel LLC in the Tri State Area, NY, seeks a Telecommunications Level III Technician to install, maintain, and test complex telecom gear in Central Office, Data Center, and other facilities. You will lead junior installers, supervise work, and ensure safety and quality on every project.

The role requires 3+ years in digital infrastructure, strong GR-1275-CORE knowledge, fiber, copper, DC power, and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of digital infrastructure experience with expert-level proficiency in telecommunications installation.
• Experience in ISP/Central Office/Headend/Data Center facilities preferred.
• Ability to lead/train Level I & II technicians on installation and decommission projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise technicians across installation and decommission projects.
• Prepare sites, install, dismantle, and restore telecommunications equipment.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to procedures and documentation.
