Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Principal Technologist to lead the execution and delivery of AI-native telecommunications solutions for next‑gen networks.

You will own end‑to‑end technical delivery across co-design engagements, ecosystem partnerships, and innovation incubation programs, translating 6G and AI strategy into deployed architectures and measurable customer outcomes. You will guide architecture, proof‑of‑concept delivery, and production scaling for AWS 6G and Network AI engagements

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology domains (software, cloud, systems)
• Experience communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level
• Demonstrated ability to evangelise end-to-end technology roadmaps for IT transformations toward cloud

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of AI-native network co-design with Tier-1 operators from architecture to production
• Own architecture and delivery of RAN AI, AI control plane and agentic network solutions with customer and AWS teams
• Drive NTN architecture and delivery including direct-to-device and interworking with terrestrial NTN
• Lead crowdsourced innovation programs (hackathons, developer challenges) to accelerate 6G and AI ecosystem
• Represent AWS in industry forums and standards bodies driving AI-native network architectures
• Orchestrate partner co-design programs across semiconductor, RAN, and AI ecosystems
• Build and lead a scaling function of FDEs and Solutions Architects for 6G and AI engagements
• Author architecture documents and solution proposals for AWS leadership and customers
• Drive 1P innovation by integrating agentic network capabilities into AWS platform
• Mentor and develop a community of builders on AI-native network delivery
