Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Principal Technologist to lead AI-native telecommunications solutions for next-gen networks.

You will own end-to-end technical execution across co-design engagements, ecosystem integrations, and incubation programs—translating 6G and AI strategy into deployed architectures and measurable customer outcomes. Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, networks, data/analytics, security)
• Experience evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps and IT transformations
• Experience communicating to technical and non-technical audiences including C-level

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of AI-native network solutions for Tier-1 operators from architecture to production
• Own architecture and delivery of RAN AI and AI control plane solutions with customer teams
• Drive NTN and interworking with direct-to-device and terrestrial networks
• Lead crowdsourced innovation programs (hackathons, challenges, fellowships) to accelerate 6G and AI ecosystem
• Represent AWS in industry forums and standards bodies (TM Forum, TIP, O-RAN)
• Orchestrate partner co-design programs across semiconductors, RAN, and AI ecosystems
• Build and lead a scaling function of FDEs and Solutions Architects for 6G/AI engagements
• Author technical narratives, architecture documents and proposals for AWS leadership and customers
• Drive 1P innovation by integrating agentic network capabilities into AWS platform
• Mentor community of builders on best practices for AI-native network delivery
