Job summary

Shellback Semiconductor Technologies is seeking a Lead Technician for the second shift (3:00 pm–1:00 am) to provide technical leadership and coordinate workflow in the production department, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. The role emphasizes mentoring, tool troubleshooting, and collaboration with Engineering and Field Service.

The candidate should have an Associate's degree preferred in Electrical or Mechanical technology and a minimum of 3 years as Assembly Technician Level 3 or

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and coordination skills.
• 3+ years' experience as Assembly Technician - Level 3 or equivalent.
• Associates degree preferred in Electrical or Mechanical technology.
• Able to mentor associates and train on best practices.
• Limited travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and lead the department to service customers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components during tool installation.
• Review drawings and discuss tool design with Engineering.
• Coordinate workflow with supervisor and ensure on-time delivery.
• Mentor associates in best work practices and maintain safety.
• Perform tool checkout and complete required documentation.
• Interface with Field Service and customers as required.
