Job summary

Shellback Semiconductor Technologies seeks an Assembly Technician Level-2 for second shift. The role focuses on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assembly, including decontamination of tools, wiring, hipot testing, and interpreting schematics/drawings. Reports to Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities include wiring to precise specs, integrating sub-assemblies, and mentoring Level-1 technicians. Requires a high school diploma and 2.5 years of Level-1 experience.

Qualifications

• 2.5 years’ experience as Assembly Technician – Level 1 or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and interpret schematics/drawings.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assembly.

Responsibilities

• Perform point-to-point wiring of electrical assemblies to precise specifications.
• Integrate sub-assemblies into a tool build based on various instruction methods and to precise specifications.
• Comprehension and use of electrical and mechanical schematics, engineering releases, and flow plans.
• Mentor/instruct Assembly Technician – Level 1.
• Develop the necessary skills to be promoted to Assembly Technician – Level 3.
• Any other duties assigned by supervision.
