Ascension Health at Columbia Saint Mary's Hospital Milwaukee seeks a Pharmacy Technician Lead to oversee daily pharmacy operations, mentor staff, and ensure regulatory compliance. This full-time role includes day and evening shifts, every-other weekend and holidays, with a focus on efficient workflows and high-quality patient care.
You will coordinate staffing, support onboarding and training, and drive process improvements while upholding safety and service excellence.

Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours | 5 days each week including every other weekend. Day and evening shifts between 7:00am and 11:30 pm | Every other weekend and 3 holidays per year
Operational Leadership: Coordinate shift operations, manage daily resources, and assign work to keep pharmacy activities running efficiently.
Team Mentorship & Guidance: Act as a subject matter expert and functional resource, supporting and coaching Pharmacy Technicians and staff.
Quality & Compliance Oversight: Monitor work progress, ensure adherence to regulatory policies and standard operating procedures, and report compliance metrics.
Departmental Problem Solving: Lead shift-level troubleshooting, collaborate on operational solutions, and assist management with strategic specialty projects.
Talent Development: Provide actionable input on hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing associate development.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registration with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board required. Must provide proof of application to register with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board and once registration is granted, must be maintained.
One or more of the following required:
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
