Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic for Class 7-8 equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of diesel engines, air systems, electrical diagnostics and aftertreatment systems.
• Experience leading a team or serving in a lead technician capacity.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities using OEM diagnostic software.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of technicians in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, emissions systems, transmissions, drivetrains, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic software and coordinate with fleet maintenance leadership.
• Maintain safe shop practices and ensure DOT/OSHA compliance.
• Review and close work orders for labor hours and materials.
