Job summary

You will perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Class 7-8 trucks, guiding a maintenance team to maximize fleet uptime. The role requires strong diagnostic skills with OEM software, experience leading a team, and the ability to train staff while ensuring DOT and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic on Class 7-8 equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of diesel engines, air systems, electrical diagnostics, and aftertreatment systems.
• Experience leading a team or in a senior/lead technician role.
• Strong diagnostic skills using OEM diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of technicians in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor daily work orders for timely, quality completion.
• Provide on-the-job training, technical guidance, and performance feedback.
• Assist onboarding of new technicians, including safety training and tool orientation.
