Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking an experienced Lead Technician for our Ohio and Pennsylvania service teams. This hands-on role requires diagnosing and repairing commercial overhead and loading dock equipment, leading field crews, and mentoring apprentices on-site.

Youll install and service doors and dock equipment, coordinate daily jobs, and ensure safety and quality while delivering excellent customer service to manufacturing facilities across Mentor, OH and Leetsdale, PA.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant door or loading dock equipment experience.
• Previous lead technician experience in the commercial door or loading dock industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to pass background, drug, DOT, and physical screenings, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and service commercial doors and loading dock equipment.
• Lead daily field crews and coordinate work with apprentices.
• Complete service tickets and work orders.
• Perform installation, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment controls and work with HMI panels.
• Train and mentor apprentices while maintaining safety.
