Job summary

Our client is expanding its team in the Cleveland and Pittsburgh areas. Apprentice Technicians will receive on-the-job training and manufacturer factory training while working in small two-person crews alongside experienced technicians.

The position involves installing and servicing loading dock equipment and commercial doors, traveling to customer sites, and earning lift certifications with room to grow into lead technician roles.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; willingness to learn new skills daily.
• Positive, team-first attitude and reliable work history.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and DOT drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Learn and service commercial/industrial doors and loading dock equipment.
• Assist lead technician on installs and repairs.
• Travel to customer sites in company vehicle; report to shop daily.
• Gain manufacturer factory training and lift certifications.
• Grow toward eventually taking on lead technician responsibilities.
