Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking an experienced Lead Technician for our Ohio and Pennsylvania service teams. This hands-on role requires diagnosing and repairing commercial overhead and loading dock equipment, leading field crews, and mentoring apprentices on-site.

Youll install and service doors and dock equipment, coordinate daily jobs, and ensure safety and quality while delivering excellent customer service to manufacturing facilities across Mentor, OH and Leetsdale, PA.

Qualifikationen

• At least 4 years of relevant door or loading dock equipment experience.
• Previous lead technician experience in the commercial door or loading dock industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to pass background, drug, DOT, and physical screenings, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

About the Opportunity

An established, employee-owned commercial equipment company is looking for experienced Lead Technicians to join its growing service teams in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

This is a hands-on field position for someone with commercial door or loading dock equipment experience who can troubleshoot equipment, lead daily jobsite crews, and help develop less-experienced technicians. You'll work with commercial and industrial customers, including manufacturing facilities, installing and servicing equipment that keeps their operations moving.

What You'll Do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and service commercial overhead, rolling, and high-speed doors.
• Service loading dock equipment, including dock levelers, truck restraints, seals, rail systems, air curtains, and lift equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment controls and work with HMI panels.
• Lead daily field crews and coordinate work with apprentices and other technicians.
• Complete service tickets and work orders.
• Perform installation, repair, and occasional preventative maintenance.
• Work at customer sites using ladders, lifts, and other equipment.
• Train and mentor apprentices while maintaining safe work practices.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of relevant door or loading dock equipment experience.
• Previous lead technician experience in the commercial door or loading dock industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass required background, drug, DOT, and physical screenings.Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, work outdoors, and work at heights.
• A dependable, team-oriented approach and the patience to mentor apprentices.

Welding and electrical troubleshooting skills are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• $24-$32 per hour, depending on experience.
• Weekday schedule with overtime available but rarely required.
