Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. in Arcadia, FL is seeking a Lead Technician to supervise the service team and manage shift workloads. The role focuses on diesel and refrigeration systems, diagnostics, and maintaining high service quality.

You will diagnose and repair units using OEM software, perform PMs and DOT inspections, and support customers across shifts. A HS diploma and valid license are required; night differential and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience as a technician or supervisor in fleet or refrigeration services.
• Must possess a toolbox and required tools.
• Strong electrical and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift schedules and workload distribution.
• Supervise technicians and ensure quality standards.
• Communicate with customers and team members across shifts.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration units using OEM software.
• Perform PM services, DOT inspections, brake repairs, and general truck/trailer maintenance.
• Handle road service calls and APU repairs.
• Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
