The Lead Technician is responsible for the onsite installation of nurse call, security and fire life safety systems within healthcare facilities.

Essential Functions:

  1. Lead crew on site to ensure the successful installation of project components
  2. Provide system troubleshooting and make timely corrective actions to keep the project moving forward.
  3. Interpret drawings and identify best methods of project completion
  4. Possess knowledge of security, nurse call and fire life safety systems, including but not limited to EST3, Lenel, and Ascom
  5. Be the primary contact for the customer while on site; communicate daily with the Foreman and/or Project Manager regarding job status.
  6. Responsible for all project documentation; enter a daily summary into company CRM regarding the status of the project installation. Provide all final project documents timely for project close outs.
  7. Responsible for ensuring all project materials and equipment are prepped and ready to be used during the project installation.
  8. Adhere to all workplace safety expectations, regulations, standards and practices

Position Requirements:

  1. 5+ years installing low voltage in the Healthcare environment
  2. 2+ years in a leadership role (4+ years in leadership preferred)
  3. High school diploma (or equivalent)
  4. Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
  5. Must be able to get immunizations and vaccinations needed to work in the healthcare facilities
  6. Must be able to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed).
  7. Punctuality and regular attendance

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  1. Repetitive substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  2. Walk, drive, bend, stoop, hear, and speak
  3. Drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day
  4. You may work at extreme heights occasionally, and in an indoor environment under all temperature variations. Confined spaces may occasionally be required
  5. Work is performed in hospitals and other medical facilities with patient contact
