Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a technically adept writer to bridge the gap between developers and users, delivering API content, reference guides, and release notes for a sophisticated audience.

You will learn and apply style standards, work with internal developers and fellow writers, and craft content that scales with AI-assisted tools, contributing to Salesforce’s Agentforce initiatives and broader AI-driven documentation program.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical writing experience.
• Proven ability in crafting technical, user and administrator-focused content.
• Experience with source control software.
• Ability to read, understand, and build short code samples in a variety of programming languages.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and IBM i and z/OS operating systems a plus.
• Experience with DITA, Oxygen, content management systems, source control systems, Jira, and Confluence.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new sophisticated technologies.
• A related technical degree required.
• Understand strategies for writing for LLMs and using generative AI to enhance work.

Responsibilities

• Assess the need for, plan, and deliver a range of documentation for Informatica customers, including API content, reference guides, conceptual content, release notes, and how-to/task-based content.
• Collaborate with team members to help scope and build documentation for the features they cover.
• Learn and apply style, language, and structure standards.
