Job summary

You will install, test, and maintain hardware, diagnose issues, support users, manage inventory, and supervise staff. The position is hourly, temporary, with a 20-hour weekly schedule, and offers benefit eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science and three years of computer experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of computer maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of computer operating systems.
• Knowledge of software used by department.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and maintains computer hardware; performs routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Identifies cause of computer hardware problems; resolves or contacts appropriate person for additional assistance.
• Installs, tests, and debugs client software
• Assists users of department software; answers questions and provides information.
• Maintains an inventory of supplies and tools, reorders as necessary.
• Supervises other classified staff. Schedule work and assign tasks; monitor and review performance.
