Job summary

Grounded RVs Inc. is hiring its first in-house Lead Technical Recruiter to sit embedded with the Detroit team. You’ll own recruiting end-to-end for manufacturing, engineering, software, and operations, partnering with founders and technical leads to define roles and build a scalable pipeline.

You will run a fast, human-centered process and close candidates with offers, including equity discussions. This role will shape the employer brand and the recruiting function as Grounded scales its team on

Qualifications

• 5+ years in-house technical recruiting
• Strong track record hiring hard-to-fill roles in engineering and build-side functions
• Demonstrated ability to close hard candidates, including equity negotiations
• Comfort building pipeline and recruiting processes from scratch with minimal infrastructure
• Excellent sourcing and candidate assessment skills
• Clear, compelling communicator who builds real relationships with candidates and managers
• Highly organized and self-directed in fast-moving, low-structure environments
• Motivated by mission and able to connect with candidates beyond compensation

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across manufacturing, engineering, software, field ops, and generalist roles—from initial outreach to signed offers
• Partner with hiring managers to define roles, write compelling job descriptions and design interview loops
• Build and manage top-of-funnel pipeline through sourcing, events, referrals, and creative channels
• Run a fast, human-centered recruiting process that delivers a best-in-class candidate experience
• Create systems and workflows for scale: ATS hygiene (Ashby), scorecards, candidate tracking, calibration loops
• Track and report pipeline and hiring metrics to keep searches and overall hiring on track
• Partner with the founders on headcount planning: what we hire, in what order, and costs
• Help shape employer brand online and offline, translating it into sharper outbound messaging
