Stanley Black & Decker in Towson, MD, is seeking a Manager, Technical Publications & Product Graphics to lead the Technical Writing and On-Product Graphics teams in a hybrid role. You will oversee manuals, guides, labels, and on-product graphics, ensuring accuracy, brand alignment, and regulatory compliance across global markets.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Regulatory, Legal, and Marketing to support launches and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years in technical publications, labeling, or product graphics.
• 3+ years of people leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with regulatory, safety, and compliance related to product docs.
• Strong document control, revision management, and review processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Technical Writing and On-Product Graphics teams with clear priorities.
• Oversee creation, review, and release of manuals, guides, labels, and graphics.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand standards and safety regs.
• Build team capability, plan resources, and support timelines and launches.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Mgmt, Regulatory, Legal, QA, and Marketing.
• Drive consistency across product lines and content structures.
• Identify opportunities for simplification, digitization, and standardization.
• Support translation/localization for global launches and regional needs.
• Oversee document and artwork review processes with timely execution.
• Lead with accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement.
