Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Technical Problem Solver Expert to lead resolution of complex issues using Shainin Red X and Six Sigma, driving improvements in quality, cost and delivery while building problem-solving capabilities across the organization.

You will oversee cross-functional teams, define priorities, and ensure governance of methodologies, while coaching practitioners to achieve measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required in a related field.
• Shainin Red X Journeyman or Master certification mandatory.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred.
• 5–10 years’ experience in Technical Problem solving.
• Proven track record solving complex technical issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership and cross-functional team management experience.
• Proficiency applying statistical analysis to validate root causes and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex and difficult technical problems.
• Lead a cross-functional team to apply structured problem-solving methodology (Shainin, Six Sigma or equivalent).
• Define priorities.
• Proactively anticipate roadblocks to find solutions and escalate when needed.
• Ensure rigor and governance of problem solving methodologies across the organization.
• Coach and develop Problem Solver Practitioners.
• Select projects with the highest impact across plants or business units.
• Report progress, people development, and savings to Senior Management.
