Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Technical Problem Solving Expert in the United States to lead advanced problem solving using Shainin Red X and Six Sigma, driving improvements in quality, cost, and delivery. You will mentor practitioners, set priorities, and govern problem solving across the organization.

The role requires a strong engineering background, a proven track record in solving complex issues, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams toward high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Physical, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials or related)
• Shainin Red X Journeyman or Master certification (mandatory)
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred
• 5–10 years’ experience in Technical Problem solving
• Proven track record solving complex technical issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Leadership and cross-functional team management
• Apply statistical analysis (Minitab, JMP) to validate root causes and/or solutions
• Understanding of engineering fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail
• Willing to develop others
• Be a positive change agent

The Technical Problem Solver Expert leads the resolution of complex, high-impact technical issues using structured methodologies such as Shainin Red X and Six Sigma. Compensation

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $130,400 – $163,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
