Job summary
The Goodkind Group, LLC seeks a detail-oriented Technical Designer to join its Ladies Active/Sportswear team in New York. You will translate concepts into production-ready products by managing technical specifications, ensuring precise fit, and maintaining high-quality from prototype to final production.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field.
- 5–10 years in technical design for Ladies Activewear/Sportswear; Outerwear experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Illustrator and CAD; deep knowledge of garment construction and patternmaking.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain tech packs with sketches, BOMs, measurements, construction methods, and grading.
- Manage production packaging details, including care/content labels, carton markings, fold/hanger specs, and UPC codes.
- Lead fit sessions on live models and communicate adjustments to maintain design integrity, comfort, and functionality.
- Review prototypes and pre-production samples with manufacturers for design and quality compliance.
- Collaborate with Design, Product Development, and Production teams to meet brand standards, timelines, and cost targets.
- Troubleshoot construction issues during development and provide innovative solutions for aesthetic and functional goals.
