Job summary

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) seeks a Technical Advisor II – Family Strengthening to lead technical direction on family strengthening, safeguarding, and child protection across regional and country programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Child Protection, Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, Human Services, International Development, Social Policy, Public Policy, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum eight years international working experience in advisory/management role with progressive responsibilities, ideally with an international NGO, with minimum of three years in family strengthening or related programming.
• Experience providing technical assistance and developing proposals for donor funding.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance on family strengthening, safeguarding, and child protection in line with CRS standards.
• Support regional and country teams to deliver high-quality programming for vulnerable children and families.
• Lead development of technical approaches, guidance, tools, and implementation frameworks for family strengthening and related care modalities.
• Strengthen government, faith actors, and CSO capacity to deliver quality child protection and family care services.
