Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking a hands-on Lab Manager to run the ECU Validation Test Lab in Irvine. You’ll ensure reliable operation of chambers, shakers, sensors, and instruments, manage tests, and coordinate vendor services and consumables. Lead a team of technicians and drive cross-site calibration standards and material flow.

You will partner with validation engineers to align test setups, fixtures, and data quality while maintaining safety and traceability across sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in test lab operations, equipment maintenance, metrology, reliability/environmental testing, or comparable technical operations.

Responsibilities

• Own asset and calibration system in Jira with full traceability for chambers, shakers, instruments, fixtures, and tools.
