Job summary

ServiceMaster TEAM in Richland Hills, TX seeks an experienced Lead Restoration Technician / Crew Chief aligned with IICRC standards to oversee field mitigation projects and guide restoration teams.

You will supervise drying operations, moisture inspections, and psychrometric calculations, coordinate with Project Management, ensure safety and quality, and communicate professionally with customers and adjusters.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in restoration, mitigation, or disaster recovery.
• Demonstrated leadership or crew lead experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
• Availability for emergency response and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead water damage restoration projects and direct daily jobsite operations.
• Perform moisture inspections, moisture mapping, and psychrometric calculations.
• Determine drying, cleaning, containment, and deodorization strategies with Project Management.
• Set up, monitor, and adjust drying, filtration, and air scrubber equipment.
• Oversee controlled demolition and removal per approved scope.
• Enforce PPE usage, containment, and cross-contamination control.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with IICRC standards and SOPs.
• Document moisture readings, equipment placement, job progress, and photos using restoration software.
• Communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, and internal teams.
• Assist in training, mentoring, and evaluating technicians at all skill levels.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Restoration Technician / Crew Chief with strong IICRC alignment to oversee field mitigation projects and lead restoration teams in accordance with IICRC.

This role is ideal for a technically skilled restoration professional who understands drying science, leads from the front, and holds teams accountable for quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience assisting with job scoping, supplements, and scope validation
