Joyoflearningcenter is hiring Lead Teachers to inspire children through a play-based curriculum. You will plan and lead activities that support intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development while assisting with daily care and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• TCC, CDA, or Associates in Education or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities to promote development.
• Prepare children for kindergarten by guiding from infancy to school age using the provided curriculum.
• Assist in daily care including feeding, changing, and nap time.
• Maintain open communication with parents and team using the Classroom Management system.
• Assist Lead Teachers with classroom management or tasks from the Assistant Director or Director.

Lead Teacher

What you bring as a Team Member:

All Teachers plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities designed to promote the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of children. You will prepare children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education from infancy to school age using the provided curriculum. You will also assist in daily care such as feeding, changing, and nap time. You will maintain interactive and open communication with parents and other team members using our Classroom Management system. Teachers may also assist Lead Teachers in classroom management or in fulfilling requests made by the Assistant Director or Director.
