Job summary

Joyoflearningcenter in Cartersville, GA seeks experienced Lead Teachers to inspire lifelong learning through a play-based approach. You will plan, direct, and join in activities that promote cognitive, physical, emotional, and social growth, preparing children for kindergarten.

You will communicate with parents, supervise daily classroom tasks, and support the director in managing the facility. We offer in-house training and growth opportunities plus competitive pay.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
  • CDA preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in an early childhood setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities to support development.
  • Prepare children for kindergarten using our curriculum from infancy to school age.
  • Assist with daily care tasks such as meals, potty training, diapering, and nap time.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and teammates via the Classroom Management system.
  • Oversee classroom operations and support junior team members and leadership staff.

Lead Teacher

What you bring as a Team Member:

All Lead Teachers are expected to plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities designed to promote the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of children. You will prepare children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education from infancy to school age using the provided curriculum. You will also assist in daily care such as meal time, potty training, changing, and nap time. You will maintain interactive and open communication with parents and other team members using our Classroom Management system. Lead Teachers will oversee classroom management and the daily tasks of junior team members. You will also assist the Assistant Director and Director in classroom and facility management as directed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CDA is preffered not necessary.
  • 1 year or experience working in a registered early childhood education institute.

Pay: $13.00-$16.00 Hour based on Region, education and experience
