Job summary

Joyoflearningcenter in Lexington, KY is seeking experienced teachers to join our talented team where we inspire children to be lifelong learners through our play-based curriculum. You will plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities designed to promote the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of children.

You will prepare children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education from infancy to school age using the provided curriculum.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• All Teachers plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities designed to promote the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of children.
• Prepare children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education from infancy to school age using the provided curriculum.
• Assist in daily care such as feeding, changing, and nap time.
• Maintain interactive and open communication with parents and other team members using our Classroom Management system.
• Teachers may also assist Lead Teachers in classroom management or in fulfilling requests made by the Assistant Director or Director.
