Job summary

Endeavor Schools is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher for Woodpark Montessori Burnsville to implement Montessori-inspired curriculum and lead engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth. You will ensure the safety of children, monitor progress, and foster a harmonious classroom where staff collaborate daily.

CDA/Montessori certifications are preferred, with strong communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in toddler/early childhood education.
• Montessori teaching experience or training preferred.
• Montessori Certification strongly preferred; CDA may be required.
• Excellent communication with parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead developmentally appropriate activities following Montessori pedagogy.
• Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times.
• Monitor and document each child’s progress.
• Create a positive, collaborative classroom environment.

Are You Qualified?

If you have the following, we would love to speak with you:

• CDA required/Montessori Certification strongly preferred
• 2-5 Years of Experience required
• State specific
• Experience in a Montessori teaching environment is strongly preferred; a willingness to learn and follow the Montessori philosophy is required.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members is required.
• The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role.
