Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor fellow teachers, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, engaging classroom environment for young learners.

You will partner with families and staff to support enrollment goals and center success, while upholding licensing standards and community partnerships. This role emphasizes hands-on teaching and ongoing collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience.
• CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
